MCABSE Finances & Fundraising

MCABSE is supported completely  by donations and people who join as members each year!

Our key operational costs are: 

  • The MCABSE Website  hosting fees (Hostmonster and WordPress).  ($600 renewal fee every 3 years, ~$300 per year, w/ added monthly fees for sitelock)
  • PNC Banking Fees  (~20/ month ($300 yearly)
  • The MCABSE US P. O. Box Annual Fees.  ($198yearly)
  • Postage fees for Scholarship Delivery (~$160.00, pending cost of U.S. Postage stamps)
  • The NABSE Alliance Annual fees ($150, yearly or as requested from NABSE)
  • Google Drive storage fees ($20 per year)
  • Google Email communication add-on for multiple email merges ($30 p/year)
  • Online Meeting Platform (Zoom, Conference Call, Video Calls) ($175 per year)**
  • Online Webinar Platform (Zoom Webinar, meetings) ($400)**
  • Our total operational costs are about $900-$1500 annually;

**We try to use MCPS meeting platforms where permissible.

Other operational costs that come up in general are donated by members who serve as officers as they are able and by community members who are willing and able if there are no funds in our account to cover them.

All donations and memberships are initially funneled to our Scholarships/Grants/ and Student Support Funds.

We do all of our banking with PNC Bank.
